We are excited to announce that Carl Wilkens, activist and humanitarian, led off our Spring 2014 Tuesday Times Roundtable on January 14. Mr. Wilkens, the only American who remained in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide, distributed essential goods to orphans throughout Kigali. Carl currently runs World Outside My Shoes, a nonprofit inspiring students to engage with “the other.”
Carl will also gave personal presentations to two undergraduate GL-designated courses and one graduate education course.
